QuickyBD, a new e-commerce brand, was facing a major hurdle right from its launch. By addressing critical technical and foundational issues, we were able to unlock the site's organic search potential and drive explosive growth. In just 3 months, our work resulted in: 8,300+ Clicks, 700,000+ Impressions.
This case study demonstrates how a strategic technical SEO approach can transform a new brand's online visibility and set it on a powerful growth trajectory.
By addressing these foundational technical flaws, we were able to significantly improve the brand’s organic search performance. Over three months, key metrics from Google Search Console demonstrated dramatic and consistent growth, indicating that a solid technical foundation is crucial for a new brand's success.
As a new brand entering a competitive market, QuickyBD’s website had critical technical and structural issues that were preventing it from being properly seen by Google.
Our initial audit pinpointed several key problems common to new launches:
Canonical URL Issues:
The website was accessible via four different URLs (http://www., https://www., http://, and https://), which confused search engines and diluted the site's authority. This technical issue meant Google was treating a single website as multiple, separate properties, negatively impacting its SEO.
Missing Core Pages:
Essential pages such as "About Us," "Contact Us," "Privacy Policy," and "Shipping & Returns" were completely absent. This not only eroded customer trust but also signaled to Google that the website was not a complete or authoritative source.
Missing Schema Markup:
Product schema markup was entirely missing. This prevented search engines from accurately understanding product details like price, availability, and reviews, which are crucial for appearing in rich results and improving click-through rates.
Poor On-Page Optimization:
Product and category pages were missing critical on-page elements like H1 headings, unique meta titles, and meta descriptions. This made it difficult for search engines to determine the topic of the pages. The category pages also lacked a content section, which limited the opportunity to target relevant keywords.
Client-Side Rendering:
The website was built using client-side rendering, a development approach that can make it difficult for search engine crawlers to properly index content, often leading to poor rankings and limited organic traffic.
No Blog:
The absence of a blog meant the brand couldn't build topical authority or engage potential customers with valuable content, a crucial element for new brands looking to grow.
Other Technical Bugs:
We also found several other issues, including a non-dynamic sitemap and URLs that changed when a product name was edited, creating broken links.
Our strategy focused on building a strong, launch-ready foundation. We worked directly with the client's developers to implement these changes, ensuring the brand was set up for long-term growth.
Canonical URL Fix:
We performed a comprehensive 301 redirect from all non-preferred URLs to a single, canonical version (https://quickybd.com). This consolidated all SEO value and authority into one domain.
Implementing Core Pages:
We worked with the client to create and implement all the missing core pages, improving both the website's trustworthiness for users and its standing with search engines.
Adding Schema Markup:
We provided developer support and code to implement product schema markup on all product pages, allowing them to qualify for rich results in the SERPs.
On-Page & Content Strategy:
We provided a plan to add unique H1 headings, meta titles, and descriptions to all product and category pages. We also recommended adding a content section to the category pages to improve their SEO value.
Server-Side Rendering Implementation:
We advised on the transition to server-side rendering to ensure that search engine crawlers could easily access and index the website's content.
Blog Section Creation:
We recommended the creation of a blog subdirectory to allow the client to build topical authority by creating articles relevant to their products and services.
Bug Fixing:
We provided solutions for other critical bugs, including implementing 301 redirects for discontinued products and a process for ensuring URLs remain static.
Three months after our work began, the data from Google Search Console proved the strategy was a resounding success for a new brand entering the market.
The metrics showed a clear and sustained upward trend:
This case study demonstrates the immense value of a strong technical SEO foundation, especially for a new brand. By fixing these critical issues from the start, we were able to unlock the website's potential and set it on a powerful growth trajectory.
